Filipinos and their love for Western and Japanese cuisine isn’t primarily new–it is ever-growing. The rich flavors and culinary traditions of these cuisines strongly resonate with the Filipino palate. How about we bring it closer to home at a price point that doesn’t break the bank?
On May 26, 2026, Consistent Frozen Solutions introduced OMINO Wagyu in the Philippines. OMINO Wagyu is produced by Harmony Agriculture & Food Company (HAAFCO), one of the top Wagyu producers in the world. It is an F1 crossbreed of Japanese Wagyu and Angus beef, available in MB 6–7 and MB 8–9 marbling grades to suit different dishes and dining concepts.

Furthering its commitment to empowering local kitchens, the event convened some of the industry’s top chefs, restaurateurs, hoteliers, and media representatives to experience the luxury taste of OMINO. Among the event’s distinguished guests were Luisa Rust, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, and Liza Bautista, Business Development Director of the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, alongside Byron Sison, Business Development Manager of Meat & Livestock Australia. Their attendance highlighted the strong support behind the continued growth of Australian meat imports in the Philippines.

The exclusive, invitation-only event at Wolfgang Steakhouse in Pasay City began with a cooking demonstration by Chef Chris Oronce. Using the OMINO Wagyu Beef Flap Meat 8-9, Chef Chris showcased Teppan Steak, a historically treasured style of Japanese cuisine. This was followed by Chef Edward Bugia’s demonstration of a Steakhouse Burger made with OMINO Wagyu Beef Chuck Eye Roll and Eye of Round 8-9. Guests were served the featured dishes and were impressed by the Wagyu’s exceptional flavor, tenderness, and versatility across a variety of preparations.
Further piquing the guests’ interest, the chefs then took part in the “East Meets West Chef Showcase,” where they combined Japanese and Western culinary influences through a Sukiyaki dish featuring OMINO Wagyu Chuck Rib Meat 6-7. Demonstrating the versatility of OMINO Wagyu across different cuts and marbling grades, the showcase highlighted how the premium beef can seamlessly adapt to a wide range of cuisines while maintaining its rich flavor and quality. The presentation embodied the event’s central theme: bringing together the best of East and West through one exceptional ingredient.
Luxury Wagyu, Made Affordable
The event continued with the highly anticipated price reveal of OMINO Wagyu, reinforcing its promise of delivering premium quality at a more affordable price point. Building on this theme, guests were treated to a panel discussion titled “Crafting Premium Experiences That Still Make Business Sense”
The discussion featured Chef Edward Bugia, Founder and Restaurateur of Flipside Burger; Crystal Sison, Co-founder and Managing Head of Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen; and Hershey Ang, Director of Consistent Frozen Solutions. Together, they shared insights on balancing quality, value, and profitability in today’s food industry, emphasizing that premium dining experiences do not always have to come with a premium price tag.
Going Beyond the Launch

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the foodservice industry, this launch marks just one of many activations and collaborative initiatives that Consistent Frozen Solutions hopes to bring to its partners and customers.
