Local Buyer

The Local Buyer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing products from local suppliers, ensuring a consistent supply of quality goods. This role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build solid supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate potential local suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
Ensure all purchased products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without over-purchasing.
Coordinate with the inventory management team to forecast demand and adjust orders accordingly.
Track orders and deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
Develop and maintain strongrelationships with local suppliers.
Address and resolve any issues relatedto supplier performance, product quality, or delivery.
Conduct regular performance reviewswith suppliers and implement improvement plans as needed.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with companypolicies and procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, contracts, and supplierinformation.
Prepare and present reportson procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Qualifications

The candidate must possess the following:

Bachelor's Degree (of any course) preferred
At least 1 year experience preferred; Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
Willingness to learn & Hardworking
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Attention to Detail
Good Communication Skills
