Account Specialist (Modern Trade/Key Accounts) – PAMPANGA AREA

Account Specialist is an outside sales role who helps drive the sales and grow the business by building new customer relationships and acquiring new customers.

Connects to qualified prospects, identify prospect’s needs, introduce the organization’s products and services that is fit with their needs, and closes the deal. New customers are later on transferred to the customer maintenance team.

The successful applicant needs to be goal oriented, aggressive and highly enthusiastic, customer-focused, good listener, persistent and will not take “NO” for an answer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Converts prospects/leads to new customers by closing the first sale.
  • Finds and connects to new leads and saturates the given area of responsibility.
  • Responds to all queries of marketing generated leads (warm leads) in a timely manner.
  • Performs warm and cold calling tasks daily.
  • Sets meeting appointment and visits the prospects to increase closing chances.
  • Conducts thorough research to identify if a lead is qualified or non-qualified. Ensures complete prospect or customer profiling.
  • Provide information about our products and services and sets clear expectations to prospects.
  • Ensures complete and timely delivery of our products by proper coordination with other departments.
  • Helps collection department in collecting payments if there are overdue balances from new customers.
  • Collaborates with sales manager, unit leader, and product team to identify, develop and grow opportunities to meet sales quotas. Recommends better ways to improve chances of closing new customers.
  • Assists with business letters and other documents as required by prospects.
  • Manage multiple prospects/customers, projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients, internal and external.
  • Prepares new customer sales forecast so that product team can plan ahead of time.
  • Ensures sales goals and metrics are met.
 

Qualifications

The candidate must possess the following:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course preferably Business-related courses
  • With at least 1 year of work experience either in business development, sales, or marketing.
  • Willing to start ASAP
  • Willing to handle Pampanga Area.

Skills & Qualities

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • A good Sales Executive must have strong communication skills. They are required in order to communicate, present, assert and speak to all the different stakeholders involved. He must also be able to cold call prospects with confidence in order.
Collaboration Skills
  • Sales Executive is not a one man show. It involves collaboration with multiple parties from inside and outside the company. Any good business developer should be able to build relationships, influence, manage conflicts and navigate through office politics in order to get things done.
Negotiation & Persuasion skills
  • This includes being tactful and diplomatic at all times. Achieving your set goals require that you are able to learn when to compromise and when to take a stand. In order to persuade your prospects to do what needs to be done, you will need to win their hearts, minds, and trust.
Research & Strategy
  • A Sales Executive will need to have strong research and strategic analysis skills. These are necessary in order to benchmark the competition and keep the company ahead of it.
Computer Skills
  • Any decent employee needs to have at least basic computer skills. Nevertheless, a Sales Executive must have high competency working with Microsoft Office. Even CRM software is a must for this job as well.
